Sorry about the belated blog posts life a little hectic preparing for My Eldests second Birthday soo much inspiration soo little time in life :) we are slowly getting everything together...Invites are done and sent out. Just designed his water bottle covers but i just wanted to show you what i finished today which is going to be on our desert/candy buffet..i hate keeping secrets and i thought this turned out really cute :)


i thought this would look super cute in all the wiggles colors..Have lots of more things to show in due time :) Hope everyone is having a sunny sunday :)

Hi Everyone, I was essing around with my photoshop today and came up with this to display my first ever christmas dessert buffet.

this is a gorgeous baby shower inspired buffet that i stumbled across on at hostess with the mostess and those whoppie pies looks soo scrumtious..*note to self* find the recipe...
and oh my gosh i have stumbled across the most gorgous of gorgeous parties a little girl had a UP party of course from the cute movie up check out the table..but the rest of the party can be seen here especially the backyard movie theatre*must do when kids are a little bit older*

Here comes your Hot Poppin Popcorn

I have been trying to post for 2 days now and everytime i finish writing my speel my computer tells me that its bed time(has a hissy fit) So my title says it all we are having the circus come to our house in just over a months time for Ezra's 2nd birthday. I have already designed the invites and organised the cake design also started the loot tins (i found these gorgeous wiggle tins from peice of cake partes and celebrations) know i am looking for creative ideas for my next dessert buffet and also i just wanted to show off this cupcakes that i am defintly going to include on the table. are they not the cutest thing ever i am sooo sooo in love with them and i cant wait to show them off i wish i could remember who made them..i had pre purchased the popcorn cups before christmas and i still dont know why i did i must have been psychic because they are going to look super cute :)

My next birthday party wish list item is these little marshmellow sushi that i have found through
the decorated cookie..Im having one of my dear friends coming over so we can do a test run on these little babies. i just look at these and fall in love the are so gorgous and creativ..

Happy New Year 2011

What a year 2010 was..Maggie Made was re-born, my eldest turned one, i gave birth to my second son and i created my luci tree..and i fell in love with a little thing called facebook and blogging..Goodbye 2010 :) Hello 2011.. LYM this year will have lots and lots of features including a Biz chat with some great people who are in some businesses that i lurve, plus more features and things that i myself will be enduring this year..So far i have a 2nd and 1st birthday plus a christening and my xmas partya t the end of they year..I cant wait to start organising :) Happy New year may it be as exciting as you want it to be :)

Merry Belated Christmas

Christmas has always been my most loved and cherished times of the year...But now i have my two boys it has gone beyond love its an obsession to make sure everyone else has as much Christmas Spirit as i do :) and Christmas is not all about the presents but i think i did do pretty well myself this year earning a brand new spanking camera from santa.. It will help me soo much with my business and taking pictures of the boys and of course i had to test it out so here are a few pictures i have taken soo far :)

Nothing exciting at the moment but i might still need a couple of days to wear the christmas cheer off..and get to know my new treasure a little better..Have a wonderful day

What a Holly Jolly Christmas

Yipee First post and not the last...I have a love for all things handmade and those little attention to details that no-one really looks at but you know they are there..I have recently had a new obsession of candy buffets and planning parties as a way to get together with friends and family..so my first party that will feature on my blog is my own First Annual friends and family christmas party..I actually started planning this about 3 months ago and i new i wanted a candy buffet to be a feature at our bash..

HOLLY JOLLY CHRISTMAS

I Have put alot of little bits and pieces in there and also had some help from some great friends and family mainly one of my close friends Bec who made the biscuits, choclates and the Choclate ball tree and My Dad who made the santa clause cupcakes :) being a dessert table/ Candy buffet i recieved a lot of inspiration from alot of different blogs i wanted to have a red/white/green theme included Red Sherbet boms, Candy Canes, Peppermint candy and Rock Candy and Chocolate coloured balls..So all the lollies are of that color.
I absolutely love this container which i recently purchased from Target..I think its gorgeous but i am now on the hunt for more :)

I didnt take a clear photo of it but i also made twirling wands for the kids to play with they were a hit. Now i am on a mission to start organising my eldests 2nd birthday..I already have theme in mind so please stay tuned its only 2 months away thanks for stopping by
